I made it in about 30mins following a guide on YouTube to learn some of the features of PhotoShop CS6 I'm just starting so it's obviously not much, but I'll get better over time!

All so if you have a sharp eye you would notice that the gun from the Render is cut off =p That was my mistake I need to raise the render up higher :3

It's may favorite one :3 I can't seem to get the smoke effect again, I did it with the blur tool xD

 

Traditional Tag making is a great way to start learning your tools in photoshop. You're off to a good start by following some tutorials but most of your tags have a lot of empty space. Also try adding a foreground and background to your tag to create a sense of depth. When placing your render try to follow the rule of thirds, it will bring more focus onto the render rather than whats around it.

another thang to consider is the golden mean. its like a mathmatical equation that your eye flows in that direction. http://www.goldenmeancalipers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/golden-mean-spiral1.png its kinda like the rule of thirds but you just make your design flow like that. its is the most pleasing to the eye. do these 2 things an it should help out alot

basically you want your designs to flow along that line an the main focus should be where that curl is.

The character placement is decent, I believe you can make better, as I just started this board, I will post my signatures, but saying that is your first bravo.

 

I'm not sure if I like the blurring behind the characters, although the red one is pretty cool looking. Maybe they just need some work. Link's is pretty chunky and the blue ones dont really do much for me. Are you using the Liquify? ( Filter>Liquify, or Ctrl+Shift+X ) if not; that might interest you.
