It;s the fact that it's HIS guide. If you dont have 12m, dont buy the guide. Simple as.

 

Is it really fair to pay 12M for two pages of information? Is it fair to overprice a guide, not for the quality, but just for profit? I think not. If I leaked it once, it would NOT make a difference, and I mean that.

Why not? I paid a ridiculous amount of money for it, I believe I'm entitled to redistribute the guide for a more decent price.

Because the fine for copyright infringement is up to $250,000 would you pay that just because you resold someones guide without permission? Well you could or spend 25,000 days in jail until the fine is paid for...

Also another Anthology would be you buying a case of Pepsi for $3.51 and selling them on the corner for $1 each. Pepsi could charge you for doing this and you would land a huge fine up to $250,000. You would have to also give all profits you made from you endeavor. The only way you would be able to do this is to purchase a Pepsi Resale License.

Well it was going to happen to you next, but now everyone knows about it since he posted it. I don't care if you think it's immorale, people bought my guide and deserve not to have it leaked. Yes, he says what do I lose. I lose 60m, but also, respect. I said only 10 guides were being sold. Now 5+ are leaked. How is that fair to those who bought it?

If you don't have 12m, you don't deserve it. It isn't all about me getting rich. I don't want some loser who just got 3m from scamming someone on Sythe to buy my guide and get richer. Experienced players who actually like the game and can do the lure very successfully have 12m and can buy the guide. It isn't intended for the "poor noobs."

That is where you're simply wrong. You can debate that as much as you'd like, but in the end you lose. Therefore this whole dispute is honestly meaningless, because you can't listen to reason.

No it's not, because it was an overpriced guide, and if they knew they were going to be tricked they wouldn't have bought it in the first place.

I know I lose. I just don't want to have a permanent ban. I know what I did was wrong. I'm not expecting anything but the bottom of your shoes on this one, these guys used my instinct to get me banned from the site, and I couldn't have more pity for them. Just saying I never leaked a guide, EVER. But when I was asked by them, by instinct I said yes. That's all. If you think there's still an arguement here, keep it open.

 

If you resold his guide you are in violation of the copyright laws.

Your ISP shows you're from the US which follows the Berne Convention.

They did and its irrelevant whether they did or not as this is intellectual property and it is copyrighted from its creation.

There was no copyright, there was no fine text saying I couldn't resell it, he just sent me a document with two pages of information and contact addresses on it.

He has it automatically copyrighted since it is creative work. Did you not see what i post or are you too stupid to understand and also Shaw Cable is a Canada/US company and both countries adhere to the convention. You fail no matter how you try to fight. You were going to violate the law.

There was. The Berne Convention placed one the second of its creation. You were planning to violate it so there for you would be charged with Conspiracy to Infringe Copyright Laws

 

The fact of the matter is, I never redistributed the guide to anybody, I only had intent.
