My computers f'd in the a

This morning I found my computer turned on (its an Acer laptop) and when I opened the top it was just a black screen I tried to move my mouse and it didnt work nothing would. I turned it off with the power button which I hate to do, turned it on again and it did a disk check and then it went to my desktop and I couldnt move mouse or ctrl alt del meaning my keyboard doesnt work either. My usb ports went through the same type of thing they stopped working and wouldnt read anything but started to work the day after I hope thats whats happening here. Any help would be appreciated.

You said that this happened previously and it started to work again the next day. I'm not too in touch with computers, but maybe it's an overheating problem seeing as you said you hate turning off your computer. Try keeping it off for a day or two. See what happens. That's all I can think of.
