So related to music, what do you hate?

Personally for me,
Listening to music on youtube.
"When do the words start?"
Calling all electronic music techno.
"I like everything but rap and country." (This is understandable but I doubt you dislike more music and you wouldn't hate all rap and country, you just haven't found something you like yet.)

so what's your musical pet peeves?
 
I haaaaaaate modern day rappers like Soulja Boy & Lil Wayne rapping about nothing but money/bitches/weed .

So true. I used to only engulf myself in music that was only on the more popular side. Now I find it so much better to open my mind in music and listen to everything. Sound is good, and sound is bad. Some WEIIIIIIIRD things i've found myself to like. Traditional chinese music, 1880s jewish baltic music even interests me sometimes :P

I love rap. I think it can SOMETIMES an acquired taste though...I mean if you dislike it due to the lyrics then you're honestly only listening to mainstream :P

People that cannot appreciate foreign music simply because they 'don't understand the words'.

I honestly do not understand why soulja boy is so popular. That one song he released sounds like complete and utter garbage.
 
I cannot stand rap that relates to cash, bitches and gang-killing. Its very un-talented.
I cannot stand most Mainstream music, some songs released are fine.
People insulting others for taste of music, and the general stereotypical names given by these, for example, a person who listens to Metal,in The UK, would be called a Mosher, or Goth.

He's only popular to teenage girls who don't understand anything real that goes on in the world . Like my girlfriend . She's one of the hardcore Soulja Boy & Lil Wayne fans & sometimes I just wanna slap out of her for that shit . It really pisses me off .
 
I can't stand:

- Most of the modern rap that only talks about sex, drugs, gangs and anything related;
- Most mainstream music. It's something I can't stand at all. They are senseless songs and still they are the ones who are worldwide famous. It just annoys me.
- Stereotypes given to people just from what they listen. It's just plain annoying.

Aesop Rock
Why? (A Jewish guy rapping about some disturbing shit.)
Deltron 3030 (Their album is a concept album so it actually has a plot.)

It's not only the Pop writers, it's the people like NeverShoutNever and all those other angsty teen bands who write music like this:

Not very much talent, so idk what people see in music like that .
Pretty much all mainstream is like this now . Very annoying .
 
The Music Industry.

Don't blame some artists for the music they project. They come with a certain goal in mind but when their labels keep projecting and pushing for different things such as mainstream appealing music the high-pay compromises choices. When that youthful confident "want's all the glory" mindset comes in and you sign that contract blindly you don't have much choice later on.

 
I also think that heavy / death metal is so annoying. It all sounds the same if you can understand it, and if you read the lyrics it's all

"end of the world, iiii suicide, death, destruction, despair"

and all their covers, albums, all that are just synonyms of that.
 
I hate people that completely disregard underground music.
I also hate Young Money and everyone signed to them.
