I had a (don't laugh) a 19" screen and 17" connected to my PC, to look how it worked, well, I have only 1 now (the 19") but it's bad-ass. You can shift a program from 1 screen to another, or play games and monitor your downloads which still need like 52 or 55 hours to complete or w/e (im not such a programmer, actually, 1 screen is enough for me)

With Windows XP or higher, you can set up your display options so that it automatically uses the second monitor as an extension of sorts.

Just a VGA cable that comes with near all monitors. This is assuming your laptop has a VGA input, which most do, to enable multi-monitors.

 

I think one moniter is enough unless u really think u need it but thats ur choice. hell u can only do 1 thing at a time anywayz u know

I have 3 monitors on one desk that the picture isn't linked but used the same desktop. It is nice because with multiple cpu's you can do different things on each one.

 

Most fps games now are using the whole width of 2 screens now in Dual monitor mode. So its much more helpful now. Accept the separation of the 2 screens and you see a black bar lol.

 

If you could only run 20 autos on 1 PC it wouldn't matter how many monitors you plug into the computer you would still only be limited to 20 autos. You would need a new computer to run more.

As pretty much mentioned the only reason you would want multiple monitors is for watching movies while browsing the net or if you was working on multiple projects at a time but I find having 2 monitors to be to distracting its easier to just flip between windows. You should spend the money on something more useful for your computer instead of a monitor imo.

 

Hey stuart, I havent seen you on here in a while. Yeah instead rack a new graphics card or ram. Maybe even a possible cooler to overclock

 

I only found out like a week ago that sythe removed the UK filter so I can log back in again now.
