Aim is worse..I used to have a program that I clicked the button and it shut down the other person's PC.

Once you do a direct connect..anything can happen.



And about people finding entrees in their Registry..delete it if it says anything like winhost.exe

If there is something else there, post it.

i just installed norton antivirus, run a scan and i dont have it.

 

When I first started using the internet when I was yr 5. I manage to get 6 virus at once on my computer.

 

Norton is a horrible antivirus, I would recommend AVG or NOD32 instead.

 

Well ive had problems with it in the past, mostly with the Norton versions released in the past 3 years or so, seemed to lag quite a bit and didn't detect as many viruses as other AV's, also uninstalling it was a horrible experience, near impossible to get rid of it completely, puts too much stuff in the registry.
