MS-DOS error?

I'm running my computer on Windows ME.
ANd i get this error evrytime i try to run MS-DOS or somthing that uses it run run:


If anyone knows what it is. Could you please explain how to fix it?

Your problem is that you're running Windows ME. But if you really want it fixed.

2.At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:

cd\windows\system
ren winoa386.mod winoa386.old
ren winoa386.new winoa386.mod

3.Restart your computer.

 

You can do what atomic said or if you cant get your hands on a Windows CD you can try this.

Control Panel

Add remove programs

add and remove windwos componets

Uncheck assecories and Utilities

Click next ext...

Do the same thing again but this time install it by checking it.


Atomics right ME is horrible the worst microsoft ever made.
