Bittersweet Feeling....

This Tuesday is my last day of high school, and I'm really excited to be done with school, I was getting kind of tired of high school honestly, just like the school aspects though I mean. I start College in the fall and while I am looking forward to starting that, kind of like the next chapter in my life, I really don't want this chapter to end, when people say if they could go back to high school and do things differently, I totally get what they mean by that now, sure some people wouldn't change a thing, and I know high school doesn't really matter much anymore once you graduate and start college, but I just wish I enjoyed it a little more than I did.

I had my senior prom last Friday, and I went with this amazing girl, and I had a really awesome time, and that was kind of it, that was like the last HOORAH if you will for the class of 2011, and I could of been experiencing that fun with my friends for wayyy longer, but I never did, I just kinda sat out did nothing, I wasn't even going to go to my prom, but I'm glad for once people told me that I needed to go or that I should go, and I did and it was awesome. Now it seems like things start to get great, and now they are just coming to a quick stop.

I have friends that are moving all across the United States, to different parts and to even different parts of the world for some. I understand, hey that's life and that is just how it goes, and you make new friends in college and stuff, and you can have just as much or more fun in college, but I still regret highschool. I'm going to really miss the people I have met along the way. I changed high schools freshmen year and I never really started to grow bonds with kids till this year and last, and now that I start to grow those bonds, it's like there about to come to an end. It's depressing honestly, now I'm getting that nervous depressed feeling like I don't want Tuesday to come. I know one thing, I'll make the best out of this summer while my friends are still here.

TLDR Version: I'm happy schools ending, but I don't want to leave my friends behind, and I kind of regret the things I didn't do during High School.

 

Keep in touch with them man.

I remember leaving Primary School, going to a High-School where I knew NOBODY. I made a new life there, got a great group of friends and I kept in touch with the others. My group of friends now consist of my new high-school friends and primary school friends, it's great.

You just need to keep in touch mate, try using Facebook?

Everything will come to an end in life and in this case it's your schooling era. I wish you all the best with future studying and remember you've only got a few days left, SO MAKE THE MOST OF IT!

 

I know man, I use Facebook but come on man, I mean honestly facebook isn't the same, sure you can write on their wall leave comments, but I mean seriously all that is going to happen is someone is going to maybe write happy birthday on your wall every year when it's your birthday and leaving you a post on your wall every few months or year saying hey how is it going? Besides that your not going to have anything to talk about, it's just not going to be the same honestly.

 

Make a lot of memories that will last a lifetime this summer.
Friends come and go, but memories will stick with you for forever.

Don't have any regrets, because everything happens for a reason. Just make sure to be spontaneous in college, and to just let loose and have fun. I'm sure you're a great person, and people love being around you so make a bunch of new friends and live without regrets.

Make the best of every situation, and maybe reconnect with some of your old friends if they come into town down the road. But, you have a life to live and so do they.

Words of advice; Make the most of your college life. Use your regrets of what you didn't do in High School and learn from it. Like you even said yourself, this is a new chapter in your life you cannot changed what did or didn't happen.

Just make sure you don't have any more regrets and enjoy yourself. Friends come and go, you'll still keep in touch. I had really close friends all the way through highschool who I barely see any of now I'm at university, that's just life everyone has to experience it unfortunately :/ No one likes change to begin with.
