    Mouse Problem

I have a dell usb mouse. Not much of a "techy", so all i really know about it is the mouse with a wire connected to the computer and a red light on the bottom instead of a mouse ball.

Anywayz, every few minutes or so the red light will flash off, then back on as my computer makes the disconnect/connect noise.

As you can tell this is very annoying when working on school work. Any suggestions? (*crosses fingers* please dont say buy a new mouse)

    Mouse Problem

Had this problem at one point with an older HP, I tried making sure it was plugged in well and also that nothing was blocking the laser on the bottom. HOWEVER, I ended up having to buy a new mouse as the constant stop of the pointer just pissed me off. Always check the plug but be smart and don't be too aggressive obviously in trying to get it to stay in one spot so that it functions.
