At the end if the day people are always going to bandwagon and vote for friends no matter what we do. If we decide who's allowed to win then that takes away the whole point in people voting in the first place.

It's only meant to be a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously. I understand your concerns but unless someone is cheating/asking around for votes then they're entitled to win.

Unfortunately it will always be the case that the person who puts in the most effort in a section wont always win, but it is only a bit of fun.

I'm not sure why anyone honestly cares. It's all a feelgood event. I mean, who cares if you were voted best member on an internet forum one month? Let's at least have some fun with it.

Well if there is no limitations and no minimum requirements, a user that trolls in that sections gonna win every month just for 'banter', and if that's happening there shouldn't be a minirank or reward for it. Just my 2 cents.

there isnt a 'reward' as such. its just a fun rank / mini rank for a month. I cant see what everyone is getting so frustrated at.
