My Runescape Career - 2004-2012

I will type more if i want to later, as well as advice to you scapers, if this thread gets alot of feedback.


My career in runescape since 2004, read about it, if you don't want to, you don't need to.


Randoms

I've played runescape basically since I was 7 years old (I know, i know).

My brother introduced me into it, i remember having to ask him if i could play, and keep begging and he would always say "your not 13 yet, your to young to play" even while he was to young himself, lol. But then with 3 months of begging, came my life aimed into runescape.


I have a BUNCH of more stories about my brother and me playing RS, etc... But cba to type them right now as I'm quite busy.

2004-2006 *The Golden Age*

So, from 2004 to about 2006 I had no knowledge at the game, all i knew was that you could woodcut, firemake, (all the basic-stuff) and player killing, etc. Then all of a sudden a new way of money-making had came to my mind, why not make another account, make it high magic level and high defence level, and lure people who risk wealthy armour!, And that's what i had done. My method of luring was relatively simple, ask them to fight dressed in nooby mithril armour, and bring them to a high enough wildy level and fire strike them until they die. 2007 was the year i had actually learned some knowledge, and was learning more and more about runescape every day.

2007-2008 *New Techniques*

So all of you guys know about scamming, and how many there were back in the golden age of runescape. There were TONS of scammers, back in the day, if every other trade you had been in wasn't a scam then you weren't playing runescape. Well then, that's exactly what i did, with my sneaky little mouse clicks i turned my rune set into over 1 million GP in a matter of a week. Then one horrible day, i try to log into my account and seeing it being banned, wondering why i had been banned i looked at my log and saw that i had been banned for "Hijacking" the reason they would suspect this is because i would use a level 3 account to scam on, then to transfer onto the account. This time I had quit for a while.


2008-2011 *A WHOLE LOTTA STUFF*

Around this era of my gaming career on runescape many things had changed, i had met people at my school who played runescape, played with them and had wonderful times. This era was also the era of my botting-career. I wasn't much of a player, but i had gotten 3 99's botting with PowerBot/RsBot on my main which i was very happy to had gotten. I had also got into hacking/scamming. I had hacked over 5b+ On runescape all together, and had never transferred more than 30m, because of the trade limit that had been put into runescape. Alot of other stuff had happened (obviously) but i'm not going to sit here and type it all up. AROUND THIS ERA ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS HAD BEEN BANNED FOR HIJACKING. I HAD QUIT EARLY 2011 AND HAVE NOT PLAYED SINCE. R.I.P Runescape.

Also, I do play private servers now, i'm never coming back to runescape hence not having time to play it, but i do play these godly games called private servers. I only got back to playing these a month ago, and I've been playing private servers since 2007 also. Just saying.

Alot of stuff happened during runescape, me becoming an addict to this game, becoming fat, not athletic etc. But after a year of quitting, i'm proud to say i'm not fat anymore, and also have a life. Don't get me wrong, i was popular throughout middle school, and had plenty of friends. Thanks for viewing my thread, I didn't mention a lot of things that had actually happened, i probably mentioned only 5% of what DID happen.​

haha. but really that was an interesting read. brought me back to the day where I got sold 500 bones instead of big bones. So, so sad.

Nice read, i've also been playing since Primary school (Now i'm 19) and have only been able to quit really for probably a year tops during that time. That addiction >.<
