Runescape Motivation

If it's getting a 99, or shooting for a high cash stack or getting any kind of EHP a week, what do you guys do to get motivated to keep you going while training a skill, instead of giving up before you were to get the 99 or that fat cash stack?

 

Anything less than 99 in a combat skill looks really bad in my oppinion lol (unless its a pure), so I always just grind it out until I get the 99's that I want. Also stalling and avoiding training does not get you there any faster so I always just try to get it done as fast as possible and stick to it until I reach my goal

 

When it comes to making money, its good to think about the rewards and how happy you'll be being able to afford those things you've wanted

 

I don't have motivation at all,
I want to know how I can be motivated aswell

 

I know for me personally (this is a more recent happening/story)

When ironman was being put into the game I told myself that I was going to be rank one ironman for agility. I also did it as a hardcore ironman just so it would look cooler I guess? (doesn't matter)

So I was putting in 14+ hours a day into agility on my days off and on the days i'd work (Usually 4pm est to midnight) I would come home from work, do agility till 5am sleep untill 8, wake up and grind agility till I left for work, and I did this until I got to about 73~ and all my modivation just went to shit

I quit the goal and started a new project of mine.

I'v been playing runescape since 2007 and in the 8 years i'v been playing, I'v gotten 99 Prayer/firemaking/herblore all from purchased GP and the only 99 that I had gotten by hand was 99 strength on my 16 attack obby tank.

I'm working on my dream account now, and my ultimate dream is to have 99 agility, runecrafting, and mining and right now my modivation to gain xp and get those levels is through the roof, but I know sometime soon, i'm going to hit that "Block" persay and I need to understand how to get past that

 

I think about how nerdy I'll be and it's like... BAM

 

I just do it, knowing i'll be happy with the out come of grinding my stat to a certain level that I want.

 

I just wanna be a hybrid god

 

I usually have the motivation to grind out for that "fat cash stack" but when I get it I buy some items and get bored after a couple of hours.
Then I somehow end up in the duel arena without my "fat cash stack"......

 

When I go for something (like 99 rc) I motivate myself the outcome of how much money I'll have when I'm done.

 

OR you just want to make a super bad ass pure, which the possibilities are nearly endless... to dominate the wild nearly at any level you desire!

 

Make a plan, and goal steps, like for example.. every week I want to get 5 str levels, take screenies save em. Keep progressing

 

Motivated by money and my business

 

I'm motivated to make a lot of GP so I can sell it for real life gold. Other than that, I'm motivated to do barrows because I want to get a Guthan's Spear. On chest 330 and no spear yet, wish me luck. lol

 

most people have enough motivation, what they lack is discipline.

 

ive spent tons of time on this game. if i quit now i wasted a good portion of my life for nothing

 

I was Prison Break and netflix movies, all i can say ^.^

 

I watch vids of people with similar accounts, i mean when people are making pk vids most of the time they have the stats i desire, that's my motivation.

if im going for 99 i get bored after 60 most of the time and i struggle with motivation with cash stacks n shit i thinks its cause i need to play with some one more motivated than me
