Most dependable method?

Hello all. I have VERY good memories playing RS growing up, but alas I have no played for a good 7+ years and have an item I just recently found out I could sell for some decent money. I am just curious what the best method of recieving payment would be.
I would think moneyorder or cash via mail would be IDEAL, but is that not generally done? Any info would help and be much appreciated.

Selling to someone trusted is the best way to be sure. Other than that, the most widely used, reliable method is probably western union. Lots of major buyers will also be happy to send you a money order though like you suggest.

Like I said though, selling to someone reliable is the best way to be safe. Choose your preferred payment method and find someone who is willing to do it with you and you're set.

Alright, thanks for the info Pockets, I appreciate it. I realize the role and purpose of an OMM, but the role of one would not be needed via cash/mone order because it would not be electronic?
The big issue of "going first" would also be handled diff. as well, seeing how days-week it could take to be the "first" to recieve something in the mail?

whats the item you own? yeah WU is pretty safe, theres always PA the fees arent aweful. OMMs are available for free but expect a tip tbh
