Morrigan Axes for range boxing?

I range box on my staker pure which is 83range 93hp combat lv 63, and latley ive noticed people who use morri axes the whole fight or for part of the fight instead of rune knives. Any thoughts?

I go rune knife (p++) to dragon dart for last 2 hits. And morri javs spec on fights of course.. Just not sure how the fucking axes come in! There slower and less dps then rune knives right??

 

I believe they are a higher DPS, also, if your fighting someone with defence, they have a much higher chance of hitting as knifes don't hit well on DEF.

 

Just switch between poisoned knives and a javelin.

 

Mori knives are great. I guess they have a better chance of a successful hit.

 

Yah i mean i have alot of hp so i just plow through kids with rune knives. But faced a 94range 70hp account im 83/with 93hp and literraly got 4hitted for 5mill. Then won a 10m stake and a 15mill stake Hell ill post the pics for funzies





oh then yesterday i lost 10m cash and ranger boots

 

I think rune knives are better on low-level pures, and axes are better on range tanks/other accounts with higher defence

I'm not 100% sure though as I mostly mage stake
