More Donating options.

I feel as if we added more options to the current donating system we have, Sythe would get quite a lot more donations. For an example, here is my story. I'm trying to donate, but every time I try to donate no body is online that takes donations, that or they don't offer my payment method I'd prefer.

(While I'm on that issue, I'd like to let everyone know that the "RS GP (Ix Syed xI)" link is still broken and will direct you to Grave's thread.)

Well, off my little rant and here is my suggestions on how we could improve this process.

- Increase number of active, trusted users that can credit donation towards users accounts. Ex. Ask a 5 more users that are Sythe's "Power users" Ex. KMJT, R2Pleasent, Busta305, Arcus Isidar, etc.

-This in return will allow more payment methods for users, Ex. Western Union would be great, as well as Paypal for trusted users, MB, etc.

 

sounds like a good idea, i remember first time i tried to donate it took me like a week to get hold of somebody.

 

Well, becoming a donator isn't really easy. You can't just go and do it. You have to be bonded through Sythe which requires you sending in money that represents future donations. Bonded users are voluntary and even then they only use payment methods they want. I am sure an OMM/MM would gladly hold the money and give it to the bonded user on your behalf.

Also consider that after the first $5 you can donate via paypal, and that paying through WU is going to require expensive fees that you'll have cover, and a lot of other money transfer methods.

 

I did PM Matthew to open WU, and I do take PP from trusted users.
