Wrong Section

Ill make it short. When we see someone posting in the wrong section instead posting Wrong Section doesnt really helps. I just remember when i first started spying forum i was really bad in english so saying to me wrong section wouldnt help me at all.

Take the time to Name the right section or post the url.

Saying Wrong Section should be considered as a spam.

 

I was just thinking the exact same thing in the morning. This would make it a lot easier for new members, support.

 

It is considered spam and I report it everytime i see it.

 

Yep, just saying "wrong section" is considered spam, report the post. If you want to appropriately deal with it all you do is report the thread and a moderator will deal with it accordingly.

 

I like the idea. Will make Sythe a better place and easier for newcomers to find the correct forum. I should follow this as I often post Wrong section

I report the thread to tell a mod to lock or move it, I really don't care if someone spams the thread with wrong section because their just trying to tell the user directly.

 

People who say wrong section are just trying to get their post count up tbh. I always give the proper link instead. But yah, those posts can already be reported for spam.

 

You should link the thread creator or tell what forum to post it at and not just tell him wrong section because if he knew what the right section was, he wouldn't post there.
