the lighting is good except for the planet in front

how much of this was from scratch?

also, signing your work like that makes you look like you're trying way too hard. i'd remove it

 

The planet doesn't look too round to me.. I don't know, fix the colors a bit.
The lightning rising behind the front planet also looks kinda unrealistic.. Try to fix that too!
I'd like to see the upcoming results

 

Not much if from scratch, I just kinda through some stuff together because I was bored ( generic excuse, right? )

I used the resources in the OP, nothing more ( well, the include PS brushes too )

Would probably change it up a bit more with your CnC, but I applied the layer a few times, and I cbf to do it on a small piece like this

You need to fix the planet up in my opinion. Looks a bit too, flat?
