Monthly lottery

I like the idea a lot, sounds like a lot of fun. But if members are corrupt and whoever is running the "generator" you say.. Just give it to another member so that all the money goes to Sythe either way, or one of their friends so they can split it? I mean.. Look at it that way and give me a solution. Thanks. I'm not saying that it will happen, just saying that IT COULD.

-Minority? The prize would be impossible not to be appealing. There are over 250,000 sythe members you only need a fraction of those people to reach max cash one winner. I bet it wouldn't take but a week or two for the cash to be swelling especially at a 1-5m a ticket. I think the people doing it would be greater then the people not.

-And what do you mean by a minority? Please make this more viable statement. What minority on sythe? Do you mean like rich people, poor people, middle class people or what?

-Plus I have seen this work on other sites, its not like its a new idea.

-Yes I can see this as well. The Additional funding would be too great to ignore. Especially if tickets were sold 1-5m a peice.

-That could be very possible but you have to think depending on the size of the pot/taxes being taken out you would have to split it 3 ways the winner obviously winning the most and so on. But it would be worth a try, especially if as many people as we thought that would do this I don't think we would have a problem for people buying tickets and increasing the pot.

-Well for one not just any sythe members are going to be able to run this obviously. This could only be dealt with the most trusted mods/admins and so on. Also the generator/picking will all be done by a program so that will be taken out of the hands so there would be no way of determining what numbers are going to be drawn. And for who holds the cash it would have to be the only trusted members aloud. We already do this on a day to day basis when we use MM"s and so forth. Some people trust billions and billions in a MM's hands while trade goes threw.

-I believe there are people here on sythe that can be trusted with these tasks.

-Also was thinking if your number was linked to your account then a message could be sent to your inbox notifying you of your winnings or loss? That way people wouldn't have to keep track of their numbers less chance of losing more chance of someone winning the pot.

Support Maybe it could be like;

EXAMPLE:

1 ticket/ chances 2m
2 ticket / chances 3m
5 ticket / chances 5m

Or something along those lines

 

Thanks for the support! =) Yah we could do something like this! I think for starters we should start with single tickets alone and get our feet set. This isn't really something that you hit the ground running because there is going to be a lot of gp involved and a lot of people involved. But if this would work it would be so much fun and great profit for some people.

I agree especially to start out. I think we would have more then enough people buying tickets over a month to reach way over max cash. I just think if its 1m a ticket it looks more appealing to people.

I also think that you shouldn't be aloud to buy more then one ticket. Or set reasonable limits like 1-5 tickets.

Think that would be too much work too little pay off. A lot of people only get on once a day and maybe just for minutes. They are more likely to drop money for a monthly ticket rather then a ticket every 4 hours. Thanks for the suggestion though =)!

Yah we could do that. I just figured more people would get involved if it was 1m cash. Because I think once they hit max cash then sythe would collect anything over and collect a tax on it to help pay for things. Since there is only 1 winner you will still be very pleased with you winnings. But anything could work I'd be willing to drop 5m on a monthly ticket.
