How do I recover my account?

I had an old account that got hacked and I want to recover it. However, when I search it's name on the hiscores, it's some low leveled character. I heard something about a name change thing, so I'm guessing he got his name changed and someone else took my old name. Is there any way to figure out my account's new name and recover it?

 

Add it in-game, and maybe it'll say it just changed to the new name.

 

The account name stays the same when you look it up
not much else to do but try and remembering old recov questions if you had any.

 

I'm fairly sure you need to look up the new display name in the highscores. I recently changed one of my accounts names and when I looked up his loggin name it didn't show up.

Regardless of the new name, you recover an account using it's original name. Just go recover that.

 

Do you see some levels on the high scores or no levels at all?

If there are only some levels shown, the account is still there. Add it in-game and there you'll be able to view the new name if there is one.

If no levels are shown, your account could be banned. Try logging onto it to see if it's disabled.

 

you will prob get it back if you know the details.

 

You don't need the new name.
The new name is the display name, a name which shows just in the game.
The real name is still used to login and to put in the recovery request.

 

Ban him please? advertising.

 

You don't need to reply to spam, just Report his post, and post the reason to why you reported his spam.. (Example : Advertising.) Refrain from this in future.
