You and I have definitely had our ups and downs, and to be completely honest the thought of having you on staff bothered me at first...

I never post on these threads but I pm'd him to take care of a scam report for me and he had the guy banned in less than 10 minutes from when I posted the report. I don't think I've ever seen a mod respond that quickly to a scam report. We've never even spoken either so he had no incentive to take the time or react so quickly. I really appreciate that, especially with what the user in question in the report did to me personally and I'm glad he was banned again as soon as possible. Definitely won me over

 

Hey all ​

I have always roamed sythe and only recently decided to take it that step further with making an account and start a leveling service. I've invested a little bit of money into graphics etc. but decided to donate to sythe via Moes.

Moes was extremely fast in his response not only did he take the donation he also assisted me with some navigation issues I had with the site. I know it's a bit cheesy and all but thought I would leave some feedback about Moes as it's made my start up experience a delightful one and look forward in being an active member here at Sythe.​

Ummmm why did you give Relativity a DnT when his pardon is still ongoing and the majority of staff that's given their input thus far all agree that he needs to serve some sort of punishment (he was literally caught and banned 2 days ago)?

 

Because that's what DNT is for. His punishment is that he is not allowed to participate in the market anymore. It was discussed with staff too.

No, that's not what DnT is for. Do you even read stickies anymore? By granting him DnT so soon you're setting a precedent and essentially you're saying that its ok for someone that has a shit ton of vader accounts who recently got caught to be part of the site again when no punishment is served.

DnT is a process like the pardon system; that's why staff created a whole separate sub-forum for users that want to request a DnT. I could care less whether he has a DnT or not - I don't even know the him, but the user is question, Relativity, won't even fess up that he's scammed people in the past??

 

His scam was not a recent scam. Yes his evasion was but there are other cases we've handled like this.

There are guidelines set by Rich himself and this meets them. If you're mad PM him

 

- Why would I be mad, I just stated above that I could care less whether he has DnT or not?

- Never in his pardon does he confess to scamming or show remorse for his actions. Thats the whole point of the pardon/DnT system. In his pardon he states, "I tried searching back if I was indeed banned for scamming anyone, but I honestly do not recall as it has been a very long time." No matter how long its been, how does anyone not remember if they scammed or not lmao? If he didn't remember who or what amount he scammed that's one thing, but to blatantly say that he doesn't remember scamming anyone which led to his ban in the first place is an entirely different thing.

- What other cases that you've "handled like this" can you refer to?

- Lastly, I don't have the ability to PM, and even if I did I'm still allowed to post feedback in the feedback section?

I'm guessing you get quite some shit on you because we don't see you posting alot here, but I'm sure you're busy for a good cause. If all what I have heard so far is correct you have quite some knowledge and taking that I'm sure alot of people want your help too. To attend to Sythe besides that might be hard at times. I'm guessing you are active enough behind the scenes else you wouldn't have deserved the rank as global. Thank you very much for making Sythe a safer place.

 

In my experience, Moes was very quick to reply and resolve an unusual request for me. I appreciate your help Moes and wish the best to you!
