Mods/Admins/OFFICIAL mm etc :l

Just some feedback, i think that maybe some of the mods/admins or something should be on more.. i have been looking for a mod or admin or even a official MM for the last like 2 hours, i have found 3, 1 MM went offlinwe within mins of coming on, the mod wouldnt even answer me and the other mm acnt do what i was asking him.

If you look around the forums how many mods can you see that are online right now?

im sure well over 70% of them are offline atm.

P.S: sorry if i sounded rude.. didnt mean to its just something i found frustrating.

Also the time zones have a big impact, maybe you could recruit some mods/admins from other time zones?

Moderators have enough to do than try and MM, that's what the official MM are for.

I get annoyed when people ask me to MM because I do not play runescape, nor do half the staff, that's why there are official MM's . .

Exactly, my title is GFX Mod, not "Do MMs for a game I don't play nor like mod"

A lot of the mods now are Australian too, so we're on at different times to Americans, there is a good amount of mods for different time zones though.

Just remmember, we are people, we have lives, we do not have to drop everything to come onto this website to help you for free, we do this for free...

First of all, there is a lot of "stuff" mods and admins clean up on these forums that you might not see or realize. For example, the admins make sure everything stays working, add updates to the site, and moderate the moderators.

And then all of the sectionals take care of their respective section.

And, as far as middlemanning goes, yes, official middleman are middlemen. You can trust them, and that is all the rank shows/ proves. "You can trust this person to middleman for you." Official MiddleMen are not obligated to middlemen for whoever requests whenever they request it.

It might sound selfish/ stuck up, but if you think about it, you'll see that it is not the case. I would middleman more often for more people at a lesser fee if I didn't have to deal with all of the crap members seem to create. For example, I am brought into a convo, and have to sit there for 30 mins only to have one of the members back out of the trade. Boom, 30 mins of my life wasted for nothing.

That happens way too often, hence why I am not always motivated to middleman all the time. Not to mention the hundreds of people that add me to middleman for their in game trades when I clearly state I never do that. And then there are all the kids that add me on MSN to bitch about their bans and infractions rather than using the dispute forum.

yeh i guess dude its annoying when that happens . and you should have the right to refuse to mm .and its good that you have a social life outside of sythe and so do the other members lol . but i think we all understand ur point

Agreed, we can't complain about the lack of official MM's when it's us that could be applying.

What would be better, having several trustworthy MM's that help as much as they can, but are often busy.

Or having 80 MM's, a third of which are scammers since sythe decides to accept them easily.

I personally think your right people shouldnt bother STAFF OR MODS

BUT, Official MMs Dont do alot of things for Example: if i wanted to sell a Pin for RsGP because im a leecher i would need a MM , iwould ask shredder or VIper But they dont mm , firstly shredder doesnt mm for pins unless using Paypal, Then Viper Doesnt Do BH For Market trades... you cant win, Personally i think there should be more Official MMs out there.
