Modern Warfare 3

A third game in the modern warfare series will be released later this year according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.

The LA times says Activision has recruited Sledgehammer Games, the studio currently working on another unannounced Call of Duty title, and Raven Software to help finish development of Modern Warfare 3 for release this November.

i knew about Sledgehammer games were on it but i wasnt sure it was going to be called MW3. Thanks for the link.

 

I think they already released that they were in the making of MW3, I hadn't heard of the developers though. Lets hope they do a better job than the previous infinityward workers even though I loved MW2 so much there was so much that could have been improved they should have it original but like the others.

 

Lets hope they do a better job at stopping hacked accounts and challenge lobbies this time around. Mw2 is a complete mess.

 

I agree, I hope Modern Warfare three is better.

 

It was supposed to be bridging the series into action-adventure; with assistance from IW. I guess Sledgehammer is just doing the single player.

Yea, I love the Modern warfare series too. I've seen this screen on google from the MW3 CD:

 

i hope they do good at patching glitches unlike infinityward, dont get me wrong i love cod 4/mw2 but they are still full of glitches

 

Looking forward to it, hope it meets the expectations.

 

It will be biggest selling game of all time if its true.

 

I heard about this. Hopefully Sledgehammer can continue Infinity Wards legacy and make a damn good game.
