MM's Not allowed to Vouch Traders

It's the same case with normal trades, even people who are going first get vouched after the trade. - Whilst they haven't been trusted with anything either, they have shown that they are not out to scam.

 

This. I view the MM as an overseer, ensuring that both parties are safe and legitimate. Why not have them compliment where it is due?

I agree with this, I fell into a situation where I ended up getting scammed because I went first because the trader had more vouches then me and I ended up getting scammed. Looking back the vouches were not of any quality and I felt dumb lol.

I agree with this idea quality > quantity.

 

I'm not lashing out on the newcomers, but if people don't look for quality over quantity, they shouldn't be trading with others. That being said, I don't have a problem with MMs vouching the other parties, for I just disregard the MM vouches when viewing someone's vouch list.

 

Agree. MM should get vouches, as traders trusted him stuff. Traders should get each other vouches, not MMs.

 

I support this. I believe that each person should get one vouch, and the middleman should get two.
If you've ever tried middlemanning, which I'm sure plenty of us have, it's hard as hell to get started. It's not an easy thing, nobody trusts you. The middleman deserves two, one for the trust of each trader, but the traders should definitely have a single vouch.

I sort of disagree. I think that if they MM legitly, they deserve the vouches. And when you said "After they get 3-4 trades in, they've got nearly 10 vouches from half of that amount of trades, then they pressure a newcomer into going first because they have "More vouches" and scams occur here, the new user gets angry and may result to scamming later." But seriously, who would use an MM with 10 vouches anyway or even go first to one? Even a newcomer should know this. But I disagree on how the MM vouches the other people of the trade as they have nothing to have trust on.

 

I'm just wondering how many people here are against the idea that have recieved vouches from a MM or vouches from trades in which they did not go first.

I disagree. It's like buying something. If I buy 10m from you and I go first, I will vouch for you because of the trade even though I didn't really trust you with any thing. The middle man is like a buyer in that situation. If you don't want them to vouch for you then, then people who don't go first shouldn't vouch either. Just let them do it.

 

To be honest, I disagree. If you use a MM thats kinda sign of trust. So I think they deserve a vouch.

 

I think you misunderstood what I'm saying. The MM doesn't have 10 vouches, someone who has USED a MM for each trade does.

 

No support...it should be totally up to the MM. If he deems someone he is mm'ing for trustworthy, why can't he vouch for them?

 

Because in this case a vouch is more like eBay feedback than an actual vouch.

The fault really falls with the person who portrays the vouches as something they are not. I have no problem on what people vouch, because it proves that all parties involved shared a genuine want to complete a fair and successful trade.

I don't support. If your using a Middleman that slightly means that deserve a vouch. If you don't use a Middleman, you usually are a scammer.

Anyone can just say they'll use a middleman and scam the other user.

The problem is how Middleman should NOT vouch the traders he/she is middle-manning.

Problem is how a Seller gets 2 VOUCHERS, 1 from Buyer and 1 from Middleman that it's becoming a issue because this way, they can build their reputation faster and force Newcomers to go first. ( Scam occurs here. ).

If this is allowed, Why don't everyone just get a Free Trustable MM and get 2 vouchers instead of 1? I find that really unfair and therefore, I support.

Think about it, 2 newcomers.
1 Dealing with no FREE MM, 1 dealing with a FREE MM.
2 trades each.

NO MM user = 2 Vouchers only.
User using MM = 4 Vouchers...

See the difference? They both did only 2 trades.
