I got 3/10 -.-....Bendo JDS and Johnson lol.

And JDS put on a clinic on Cain, 1st round KO in less time than what Cain took to beat Lesnar.

Now people can STFU about JDS's TTD. People are delusional if they think Brock could take him down with ease, JDS's feet movement is more fliud than anyone Brock's faced. Overeem is a good striker, but with poor striking defence with those small arms AND likes to plod forward. JDS hits with angles and is a extremely good counter-striker.

I hate how they all complain Carwin's not a monster himself, dudes only been ebaten twice, and lived through them. First he gassed VS brock in a fight he should have won, second he fought a dude with notorious TTD in JDS. He couldn't get the fight to the ground and was forced to stand with JDS and got smashed in the 1st, then lose via points in the 2nd and 3rd. I dont see much people being able to do that.

Okay JDS has great TDD but Cain really didn't try for a good takedown.
I think Brock stands a lot better chance than Overeem does.
Brock would get him down, he got Cain down, just couldn't hold him.
Also Shogun-Henderson next weekend.

 

JDS is pretty damn explosive, and Brock turtles up when he gets hit. Dont forget, Brock couldnt takedown Carwin nor Randy Couture, im suprised people forgot about that. And when Cain ran in to takedown Brock himself, he got Brock down first try right into Brock's turtle position. Brock's good, but he also hasnt been too great taking down guys with good TTD. Mir and Herring dont have good TTD lol.

And Cain caught JDS's leg but JDS got out of it immediately.
I just dont see Brock winning vs JDS really, Did you see JDS's speed when he rushed forward and threw that overhand right? Im 140 pounds and i cant even move that fast.

Trust me once JDS stuffs Brocks takedowns, beats him. people are gonna go "OHHH he hanst fought Daniel Cormier yet!!" Its never ending and gets annoying, JDS's TTD is notoriously good and people just never give him credit. And im suprised people dont factor in JDS's footwork during the fight, Cain was having trouble setting up his takedowns because of that.
JDS's TTD inst just good, its fucking damn good.

 

I 100% agree with what you say.
JDS has been taken down by Gonzaga and Carwin, both not as good wrestlers. I do think JDS would probably finish him on the feet, but Brock has great explosiveness himself.

 

They got him down for like a fraction of a second and JDS gets them back to his world. Anyways I expect DC to be hyped up for JDS IF he gets through Barnett. The HW title has never been this hard to keep for a looong time. So im pretty happy. And i'd imagine NOONE fighting Carwin would want to ever stand with him lol dude hits like a truck. The only time Carwin got beat standing up was VIA JDS.

Shogun vs Hendo is a coinflip, its up to the fighters to choose which version of them is coming out. If Slow Plodding Hendo shows up, Shoguns going to win. If Decision Dan comes up, Dans going to win. You dont try and head hunt a dude like Shogun.

I also believe it is a coinflip. Hendo has the wrestling, but Henderson also has more power. Shogun is a mean guy, but Hendo still has an iron jaw and can take so much punishment.

Hendo's got an iron chin i dont doubt, but so far all the fights i've seen with Shogun, once he rocks you and he ends up on top, he has never ever not finish a fight there. Hendo just does not want to get clip in this fight, not with a dude like Shogun on top of you.

Im pretty happy almost everyone on Sythe chose JDS to win as well!. Cain is good i dont doubt that, but the hyped he got was off the charts. Hes a solid top 5 who could become champion again. but they were treating him like the next Fedor just cause he defeated Brock.
Now that im thinking about it, imagine it was Brock who KO'd Cain in 64 seconds, the next PPV Brock is on will generate the biggest buys ever lol.

 

I agree he has great killer instinct, but since pride he still hasn't wowed me except for him against Machida 2.
Cain is good, but I still am worried about his chin. FYI I pick Brock to beat him if they fight again, depending on how the Overeem fight goes. I could see this being like this fight though. Brock starts slow from a long layoff then gets clipped and it goes downhill.

 

Just busy with life, and trying to avoid the death grip of the e-world. I've been slacking a lot in everything so I'm finally setting my priorities straight.

Cain is a phenomenal athlete and has loads of skill. I think the problem was he thought he could stand and bang with JDS whereas he should have tried to take him down and GnP him and/or wrestle the hell out of him if he stood back up.

 

Cain also is with a great camp. Cain still has a suspect chin imo, but he got caught behind the ear, a shot that can turn anyones lights off.
Still upset that they didn't show Guida-Henderson that was a FOTY canadite.

 

I think Cain's chin is good - not an iron chin (Dan Henderson) but it's good. He took some solid shots in the Kongo fight and although he was clearly rocked he easily wrestled him down.

 

He has good recovery skills. If Kongo knew how to stuff a takedown he would have won that fight. He hurt him numerous times but he was lacking the ability to stuff his shot.
Anyways should be an amazing fight this week.
Also have any of you watched the ultimate fighter? Great season.

Understatement. This season is one of the most exciting seasons thus far; I'm just glad that prick Akira lost and then faked being KO'd.

 

Agreed. I love this episode and I think Dennis will win the 145 Tuf. Diego is a killer, BUT i think he is too reckless.
Dennis has so much toughness and has proven to be able to finish the fight anywhere it goes.
