I agree, Diaz showed his boxing skills throwing all those body shots. Diaz vs Condit would be interesting however.

Whats funny is how the Wrestleweight division's top wrestlers wont be getting title shots anytime soon after GSP sent all of them packing.

WAR DIAZ!! He's always been one of my top 4 favorite fighters along with Shogun Rua, Jose Aldo and Dominick Cruz.

    Definitely.
Also nice picks, I was going to pick Kongo, but I resisted the urge.
And Diaz-GSP is on for the Super Bowl card now, GSP was pissed by Diaz saying he is faking.
You need to stay man, I love you :)

GSP's going to blanket Diaz, Diaz inst known for his amazing TTD. And im pretty sure GsP could survive Diaz's guard. Diaz has some sneaking striking, so i woudnt expect GsP to standup with Diaz.

Next, if they dont give Cerrone a top 10 LW anytime soon im going to rage. Cerrone's not just winning, hes finshing and tearing through the division.

Siver was a top 10 LW though. He has been tearing through the game though. I am thinking maybe a guy like Nate Diaz, or Edson Barboza/ Anthony Pettis.
GSP is going to finish him, he is pissed. I am feeling it.

i got diaz winning by a tko or early sub... i haven't seen anyone get into gsps head like diaz is doing so its going to be a good fight. i still dont believe gsp has a chin after the serra fight.. so if diaz gets his boxing going like he was doing with penn then theres a good chance gsp will fold

Glad you're all hopping on the Diaz bandwagon now. Been telling my friends for a while that Diaz is the man to beat GSP.

GSP will take him down, that's a given, it's just a matter of Nick using sub attempts to sweep him and work off his back. Twenty-five minutes to do something, I promise you Nick WILL find a way to win that fight. That's why I love him, because he fights, instead of this bs points shit GSP does.

    Diaz via late round TKO.

GsP is conservative, his priority is winning the fight, not finishing. I rather him give a 5 round beating than a quick KO, just sayin *wink*.
Both GsP and nick can last 5 rounds. easily, in fact i think GsP and Nick can fight for an hour if they have to.

Cerrone vs Diaz is next (Nate), im expecting Cerrone to win a 3 round decision. Nates pretty durable especialyl being rag-dolled by Rory MacDonald.

And to Corp, GsP got rocked but he was never out. He has a good chin, but when you get hit in the side/back of the skull by a punch, your entire equilibrium is thrown off. Machida got hit similarly by Shogun. Spin yourself in your computer chair for a minute, then try to walk and defend punchs. GsP simply got caught. I expect GsP to fight smart and use takedowns and jabs. Diaz leaves himself open, mixing in some headkicks will do GsP some good.

We need a like button for this post.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Nate sub tbh. Cerrone is great, probably better standup, but Nate has a better ground game.

Also GSP will win this. GSP will put this where he wants when he wants. Diaz's BJJ, while awesome isn't enough to bother GSP imo.

GsP getting hit by Serra was simultaneously the best and worse thing to happen to him (from my perspective). I got to see him get fucked up and tap like a bitch, but it also taught him to never let people get close and always play safe.

This is why i was saying nick was getting into his head and it can play a huge role come fight time... Gsp most likely knows hes being criticized a lot by not finishing fights so he has alot of pressure on him to finish his fights now to shutup his critics.. Dana said gsp was really pissed after diaz called him out and begged him for the fight. If gsp feels he has to finish this fight and not play it safe the whole fight that is playing into diaz's gameplan and he can very likely get tkoed from it. sports psychology 101.

I wouldnt count Diaz out either, but im confident GsP will win, anything can happen however. the onyl way GsP is gonna TKO is via GnP. If he could do what he did to Serra, he'll easily dictate the fight.

Cerrone is known for his ground game, so i doubt Nate will get the sub. The only person to sub Cerrone is Bendo, cause Bendo is a stud.

I honestly don't know. ( Cerrone-Diaz) Nate has the better ground game, and a great boxing game, but Cerrone is a kickboxer and amazing on the ground as well. They both have good chins, but Anthony Njok dropped Cerrone before I believe.
I think GSP will stop Diaz, don't know why, just have a funny feeling. GSP is pissed, Diaz is in over his head imo.

Rumble looks big enough to be a fucking heavyweight. MW will give him more horse power.
Aldo vs mendes huh, i have Aldo by his first tko since going to the ufc. Aldo is explosive with an BJJ champion ground game versus a one dimensional wrestler for 5 rounds.

There are pictures of him next to Andrei Arlovski and he is about the same size.
Vitor is so explosive though, I got Rumble GNP/Ko or Vitor KO
I like both guys a lot
Also Aldo BJJ isn't champion level, even if it is really good.
Hopefully he can have a good weight cut,

Hes a BJJ world champion that inst champion level BJJ? that sounds quite odd.

I believe this is his "Four-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion, World jiu-jitsu champion, Nova Uniao Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu"

Let me compile a bunch of info for you

Just because he hasn't been using it doesn't mean he does not have it.

Oh, I know. But tapping them out doesn't always = world class juijitsu.
There are only a few guys in MMA with true world class BJJ, aka Roger Gracie, Demain Maia, Robert Drysdale, Vinny Maghalgaes, etc.
He uses his bjj for more of defense then offense.
