If Carwin fights smart, he can beat Cain. Cain's gas tanked is overrated. If you didnt see, Carwin let too much go in the first round.

You call Hey Guys not an mma fan, do you watch fights? Shane is not an one dimensional fighter. He won the D2 title in wrestling at college, and Brock couldn't take him down until he gassed + brock is a better wrestler.

Shane Rd 1 KO. Cain is overrated, and his chin isn't great. See Kongo

 

And i would like to add, taking Shane Carwin down is not going to be easy. Shane's strategy before coming into the UFC is exactly like Brock's. GnP. But when he came to the UFC he decided to display his striking skills. And KO'd everyone all the way to the championship.

This is my reason Cain will get KTFO'd by Carwin. However VS JDS, KTFOing the best hands in the HW division is a fairytale. I expect JDS not to play games with Carwins power and try to stay in the outside pocket where he can sprawl better. I do expect Carwin to backpedal, or that nasty uppercut by JDS might come flashing from nowhere. Ask Werdum how much it hurts.

Very true. I think Carwin will shoot on him though. We will get to see JDS ground skills imo. Btw, I think the winner of this fight is going to win the belt.

We'll see, if JDS can handle Carwin, i see no reason why he cant handle brock.

 

I will tell you why. If Carwin tries and takes him down immediately, I think he can win the fight easier. I know JDS background is in BJJ, but Carwin is no slouch on the ground, and has crazy GNP.
Brock would take him down asap and pound JDS face in.
I am hoping personally for Carwin, I am not a huge fan of JDS, but either one I like more than Cain.

Very true. If he has a sensational sprawl, he can beat both Brock and Cain and Carwin. The downside to Carwin is that he is older, and has had that back injury + ring rust.
If Carwin comes out like he did against Brock, I can see him dropping JDS in a round. We all don't know how his Cardio will be either.

 

Carwin cant go after JDS like he did to Brock. Carwin will get counterpunched to death. if you've seen the Gonzaga, Werdum and Yvel KOs, he counterpunched all of them, JDS has great head movement and aiming. Hes a boxer, something Brock inst.

 

I did see them, I know. But he has the power to end JDS quick. Vice Versa to though. I personally think the Yvel ko is the best, but I like Werdum's too.

 

The Yvel KO was like the Condit-Dan Hardy KO except Yvel didnt land. I guess it looks cool when two people fling at the same time xD

Well yes hes in Extreme Couture, but hes not explosive or anything. If anything hes gonna have to work like Jake Shields. And that is, not fight Cans but anyone in his path. Then if he has it, he'll get better.

 

He's in strikeforce, hmm, give him Gilbert Melendez. Thats fair.
