Resolved (Wrong amount sent)

Explanation of the trade: Sold 329m 07 for .896 p/m this = $294.784

As you can see in the top right it does say the $294.02 (which still isn't the amount agreed on). However, in the bottom right you can see the actual value sent $285.65. You can see on the actual blockchain that the amount send (still unconfirmed transaction almost 2 hours later because he only paid a .02 cent fee) which is extremely low priority for a bitcoin transaction right now and in itself is paid because the volatility. Even if right when he sent the price of btc started decreasing it did not decrease -2.85% right after he sent the transaction. I have no idea why in the screen shot it says $294.02 in the top right (which again is .78 cents less then the agreed upon price). Which I would not complain about at all. I've tried talking to the seller sending him screenshots. Having him post the amount sent in Btc --> USD on google to show that it was not the $294.02 showed in the top right of the above picture nor the $294.784 originally agreed upon. Also, the mining fee like I stated was only .02 cents which in itself is proving to be too low (will comment back) when the transaction even goes through for the wrong amount.


Amount scammed: I don't believe they are scamming on purpose at all they truly believe they sent the $294.02 as pictured in the top right of the screenshot above (which again is the wrong amount) which i'm only mentioning because there was a bidding war for the gold from .895 -- .896 which means they didn't even try to send the outbidded amount to begin with.

How they scammed: Sent the wrong amount (still not confirmed almost 2 hours later)

As I finish writing this the price has now dropped another dollar and it has been 1 hours and 58 mintutes with the confirmation STILL unconfirmed because he send a ridiculously low mining fee.

 

283.45 by the time the BTC was sold because of low fee and wrong amount sent.

If this screenshot was indeed provided by you then whats stopping you from sending the remaining amount of USD?

I legit explained everything to him in this post if not more and he just says he sent the right amount when CLEARLY he did not. He even in the amount he said he sent was the wrong amount. Which is only messed up because he upbidded someone from .895 to .896 and didn't even follow through which is .893 a mil even...I told him I didn't want to open a scam report MULTIPLE times and he just told me too.

It legit says in the picture you sent the wrong amount EVEN if you say you said that much. The blockchain doesnt lie at all...everyone can see it on here

 

I love how you conveniently leave out the entire screenshot that is listed in this forum that YOU sent me...it legit says sent amount. I truly don't think your "scamming" on purpose what so ever but you can clearly see on the blockchain the amount set and in the screenshot where you cut out the other half where it says the true amount sent.....Also, this user said to stop messaging him or he'd block me on discord for the record. I've legit done nothing wrong to you except explain to you and have been kind and didn't event want to open a scam dispute to ruin your reputation at all. However, at this point your just being rude.

 

This isn't ruining my reputation. I told you to open this dispute to get more mods involved after i talked to a few of them over discord. If I'm wrong and im clearly missing something then I'm more than willing to fix things accordingly. All i know is that i typed it $294. That's what left my wallet. $294. We agreed that i would send (.896 x 329m = 294.78) Which im short a dollar but i can definitely send that if you send me your address. I don't know why it says 285. I sent 294 as you can ALSO see in the screenshot. You're getting mad at me cause I'm not paying attention to the 285. But you're not paying attention to the 294 that i sent either. Like i said we're both right in a way. I just want to see what mods decide

 

Your locally stored value of BTC was probably out of sync; your screenshot and their site's explorer/market both show you ended up only sending ~285.

Please send the remaining amount to champboost and we'll consider this resolved.
