So you're only going to be eating breakfast? Or is there lunch, dinner too?

What are your goals btw, trying to lose weight?

Personally, in any type of dieting I think intermittent fasting is the best type of diet if you're trying to cut down, starving yourself is counter productive and you can achieve your goals in a much healthier and less torturing manner my friend.

How tall are you? Seems a little over the top. I'd look into IF.

1000 calories is not near enough for someone who weights 225 man. You need way more protein/carbs/fats then that for a health lifestyle.

I weight 170 and I currently eat 3,500 calories a day (bulking right now) and when not bulking I still eat 3,000+ calories. I am 6% body fat and I know I would be miserable on only 1k calories a day that is excessive even when cutting.

Chances are he's overweight u less he's like 6'6 so he should be starting with a cut. I'd just recommend TDEE minus 500-1k Cal.

1000 Cal diet is near starvation lol wtf.
As long as they're coming from the RIGHT sources at least 2000 shouldn't be an issue. Also...what exactly is "military" about this diet?

Work out and do intermittent fasting. Research it, only allows you to eat within a 8 hr window. Very beneficial and keep a track of your macro nutrition.

Losing 50 pounds on a 1000cal/day diet is really fuckin bad for you. If you've never worked out you'll gain some muscle on the cut but not much. Yoir TDEE if you work out 4 days a week is 3k, so 2000 cals should be a good start. Starting out and losing weight asap, you're going to need to lose a lot of weight. Lucky for you it's easy to pack on muscle at your height.

I would check out reddit.com/r/leangains. They'll probably be able to help you a lot more than us.

Doing that kind of diet will kill not be able to fuel muscle growth lol. You want to lean? Macro nutritions.

280 Carbs 50 fats 200 Protein for you.

You just want to do military diet to see faster results? VERY unhealthy to only eat 1k cals a day. People competing don't even go THAT low. They range to like 1.5k cals.

I did sports in college and uni. What kind of weight do you have to be to get in? If your looking to diet it really seems to low, you need to exercise (this will help you for any fitness tests) with a diet; Instead of toast go for like small portent of oatmeal or weatabix.

If you want to loose weight without exercising you could still try your method and see how it goes. Its not really healthy to still eat so little within a day.
