This is not a rumor. What you heard did really happen to her and the $4,000,000,000 amount came to from the 1,000,000 Pacific Islanders who live in the Los Angeles County area being able to obtain $4,000 each for a civil rights violation.

There is no law against racism towards Pacific Islanders specifically but, there are laws against racism which prevent you from legally making racist remarks or pictures publicly.
