Method to being unbanned for macro major.

Recently I got my main banned for macroing. All I did was ask my friend from the USA to login to the homepage under accounts and attempt to change the password - this must be done within 24 hours of being banned.

This *May* work for your existing accounts.

I simply then claimed my account was Hijacked, and of course the last known login was the otherside of the world so Jagex quashed my ban claiming it was under suspicious circumstances and sent me a load of shit about securing my account.

Not saying itll work everytime but give it a go.

 

I do this for accounts I bot on with proxies, worked 100% of the time for me so far even when it gets banned and I appeal not even 2hours later.

 

Wish I had of done this. I lost an almost maxed 60 atk pure with 150m + on it. If anyone has any ideas on getting this account unbanned I'll give the cash stack which was 68m. But I doubt itll be possible to unban at this point. Been banned for like 3 months now.

 

That works even though when you try to appeal it says that account hijacking is not appealable?

 

I've just unbanned 4 accounts for major macroing in 2014 by claiming it was hijacked lol jagex unbanned each one ? I'm even on same IP

 

All you need to do is say it was hijacked in the options. You'll be brought to another page asking if youve been banned for one of the following click no... Wait three days

 

Anyone know if this method works for RWT bans as well?

 

This is great advice. Thanks for posting. Never thought of this. Jagged has recently been mass unbanning accounts that have long time macro bans.. but this sounds much better for recent ones.

I highly doubt it. Jagex has taken a very firm stance against RWT. From what I’ve seen, you won’t be able to get a RWT ban reversed.

 

Nah, RWT bans = rip forever.

I claimed i was using a third party client, this was when all that shit storm about 3rd party clients came up, instantly unbanned.

 

You should always appeal a ban, no matter what it's for because it's at least trying something. The major bot farms and RWT's out there see a ban and 99/100 times don't care to appeal because they have many dozens of accounts lined up after the fact. Showing initiative and appealing the ban, in a detailed and understanding way, is always a great first step that should always be taken. No matter how 'hopeless' the ban might seem.

 

Not saying it'll work for everyone but it's worth a bash

 

I had one account out of about 15 get unbanned using this method for macro major. It was my main from over a decade ago, which is nice. Definitely not botting again, but all the others are lost.

 

the same happened to me , i bought an account after i logged in it got banned !
i PMed jagex and told them my account got hijacked etc...
and they removed the ban

 

I been banned on my main for rwt for 14 days only lol

 

Worked for me too! As long as you have a consistent ip address to start.

I’m still trying to get an account unbanned and no luck :/

 

Only time I have had macro majors quashed is when using a vpn and then request appeal on my normal IP. Worked more times than not. I had it work numerous times on the same account. These accounts were old and decent totals as well so not fresh.
