Metalcore or Deathcore?

Which one? post your favourite metal and deathcore bands.



I wasn't asking for your opinion if you liked them, I was asking which of metalcore or deathcore bands you like, if you don't like the genres don't bother posting.

Metalcore and Deathcore has to be some of the shitty unappealing metal thats out there. Its basically for pussies who can't stand real Metal (Death/Black/etc.)

There are only a few bands that I like from those 2 genres:
August Burns Red (a few songs)
The Faceless (More Death Metal than anything, listed as Technical Death Metal/Deathcore though)
We Butter The Bread With Butter

All the rest just sucks ass and is a trend that will be dead in a few years. Listen to some real metal.

 

Excuse me? What makes you assume I don't listen to REAL music?

I listen to Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, British Heavy Metal, Progressive Metal and Melodic Metal. I listen to Rock, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock, and Alternative Rock. Apart from that, I listen to music from various cultures (I even have a JPop discography on my computer). On top of that, I'm a musician and I play many of the genres I listen to. You're going to try and insult my music taste? Go ahead.

I realise this is subject to opinion, but the general consensus in the Metal community is that Metalcore and Deathcore are whiny, untalented variants of true Metal. Listen to some Iron Maiden, In Flames, Morbid Angel, and Children of Bodom.

Who cares if we listen to this stuff, I listen to other metal aswell (Lamb of God, Metallica, Dreamshade, Slipknot, etc) x.x

I agree, both genres aren't real metal. But out of the two I'd probably say Metalcore. I can't stand Deathcore... it sounds so shitty.

August Burns Red = Faggotest Name/Band Suckiest peice of crap to live on this earth. Neschn We dont need people looking like Jesus telling us what metal is, you prob prefer country.

Hahaha, as I said I only like a few songs. And actually I am a huge metalhead, I have been listening to Death and Black Metal since I was 9 years old. I probably know more obscure and amazing metal bands then you know the anatomy of women, which is probably slim to none. So don't start a flame war if you don't know what the fuck your talking about.

And who cares if they talk about Jesus, Crimson Moonlight is a fucking insane Death/Black Metal band that talks about Jesus and they are amazing. One of my favorites. It doesn't matter what they talk about, its the music.
