Membership prices

So now they are raising the price for new players, and for ppl who havent logged in for 14 days..... Whats the point? I tought jagex's goal was to get new players??

 

Lol yeah but they make much more from people who don't want to stop membership. Like I know people who are still on the 5$ membership and keep renewing because they don't want the new prices. Makes more money.

i believe they are really strapped for cash and to save the company they really need to get greedy and make more revenue

 

I wish oldschool was a separated payment. For someone who only plays oldschool, $10 is far too much for what the game has to offer. $10 for RS3 is justified imo.

 

Could have sworn they said they were looking into doing this, but I'm not sure what happened with it or if they still plan to do something like that.

 

I honestly doubt it. They would never say no to more money (in the perspective of the higher ups).

 

I agree with this, 10$ is way overpriced...idk..it does make me second guess paying membership, especially on multiple accounts

 

They are literally forcing us to RWT, the price is ridiculous

 

If perm F2P is gonna work out like they think it is, then membership prices are gonna drop again, I don't think they gonna keep such high membership price..

I think its due to player base having gone downhill from best years, still not very wise choice from jagex as membership is already expensive.

 

Membership is only 7.99, adding another 2$ on that isn't so bad..

well, it is free. they have content for free players, you don't have to pay

 

If you think about it...even the best and most advanced consle games don't sell for more than 60$. If you pay for RS for more than 6 months you are already paying for more than that for a game with 07 graphics

 

seeing the decline in RS players and new rs players, I have no idea why they would want to increase membership prices. Making 2 different RS servers was a bad idea from the start, and so will increasing membership prices
