Dream Theater sucks. I mean seriously, what drummer needs such a massive kit for progressive metal? It's downright stupid. The only album...Or yet the only song I actually like is The Ytse Jam. Other than that song, Dream Theater is garbage.

Dream Theater is not heavy, John Petrucci cannot shred, the drummer was alright, now he's a fat mess that can't even play their older stuff any more, and I can't stand the singer's voice. Listen to Hollow Years and you may understand where I'm coming from on that one.

1. I never said FOB was EMO i said "thats like Punk or something like that."
2. Motley crue and K0rn both make metal. And if you knew anything about music you would known that.

 

actually Motley Crue is glam rock, and Korn is Nu-Metal (ie, core). I have no idea about FOB

 

-Motley Crue: Glam metal, Heavy metal, Hard rock
-K0rn: Nu metal, alternative metal, industrial metal
-FOB: Pop punk

 

And that's just it, my opinion on the band itself as opposed to their musical talent, they're douche bags and they're inbred fucks.

Hence the fact that from a musical standpoint, I personally believe from what I've heard that they're indeed talentless and are nowhere near the standards of Dream Theater technically as our little friend so wrongfully believes.

FOB is far from punk rock, you dont even know what punk rock is. You just assume that a genre is solely based on what the band sounds like, its not. genres have ethics, punk is about DIY, independence, standing up to something you dont believe in, not some stupid fucking generic riff your ears are so used too. real punk is shit you wouldnt even consider, jazz music is punk as fuck for example.. for a whole decade, black musicians would get together and protest against rascist groups with their music, people hated them, but they didnt care.
