Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

Anyone think this fight was intentionally put off til Pac had declined a bit?

 

I'm going with Mayweather on the win for this fight. But all I know is this'll be one hell of a fight.

I don't think so -- that's a big gamble to take, because Mayweather could have declined as well (and possibly worse)

 

If manny wins i'll cry tears of joy, but I really think Mayweather will win.

 

Mind say Mayweather but Heart say Pacquiao ...

If money may does win, I'd like for it to at least be by knockout. I'd hate to see an unanimous decision, those always tends to go for him (for things other than the actual boxing)

I'm all for representing my country, so Pacman all the way. However, no matter the outcome, I have a feel that this is just going to be another 'Pacquiao vs. Bradley' type of situation, especially since Mayweather has home court advantage.

 

Of course. Although I don't think Floyd wanted to fight Manny to begin with. Manny in his prime was ridiculously overwhelming. I'm not sure if Floyd would beat him if they fought then. I do think the fight is in his favor now being that he's the bigger opponent of the two, and Manny showing signs of deterioration more than he is. He's still very much capable of winning though.

Manny's legs are big as fuck, jesus. Anyone saw the weigh in?

It's called ring generalship. Floyd is a master tactician and it showed as he made Manny look like an amateur. A lot of people who watched this fight has no idea how boxing works. You're suppose to hit and not get hit. Should Floyd be stagnant and not move at all so Manny can have clean shots at him? No. Manny was incredibly inaccurate in this fight, only landing 81 of 429 punches (19%), while Floyd landed (I think) 148 out of 435 (he threw more punches than manny) at 34%. If anyone is to blame for this performance, it's Manny. We all know how floyd fights, and Manny bragged about being able to take Floyd out of his comfort zone and beat him easily. Not to mention he used an excuse after the fight that his shoulder was injured. It didn't look injured when he was flopping them around during the weigh in. Shameless act by him.
