Maxed Range Tank

Hey guys, a3 here.

so i started a new account, hopefully hoping to make it a maxed or near maxed range tank but i dont know how to :l lmao.

i was wondering if anyone can give me a great guide for all the quests that need to be done, what gear to where and where to train certain combat skills, etc.

sorry i havent uploaded a picture yet, i'll make sure to do so later because my laptop is giving me problems..

my stats are
44 att (all from quests)
31 str (all from quests)
70 def
70 range
22 pray(from quests)
50 mage
36 summ
65 hp.

i have money, and have karils skirt, zammy dhide top, ava's accumulator, range ammy, infinity boots and archers ring(i)

please provide me with major quests or the most up to date guide

get mage at last 70.. Train range as high as you can. Do desert treasure, get barrow gloves.

 

As for quest, you need the basic pure quest such as dt and lunars and hand cannon quest which is the end of the dwarf quest series I think. You can always do while guthix sleeps for some cash making.

As for pking, you need 94 mage and veng. Without veng, you can not KO as well!

There are too ways to gear, max def bonus or max ko chance. Most of the time KO are due to veng combos

Max def bonus- Use the best melee gear you can afford except for black d hide chest. So best gear would be torag helm and legs plus dfs and uses rune crossbow. This will make it almost impossible for anyone to hit you with 99 def. However since they can't hit, you can't use veng as well. Also you can veng and then take your gear off so they can hit and you can KO. This is good for deathmatch

Max Ko chance-Rune Helm/Torag helm, black d hide leg plus chest. Hand Cannon. U want your enemy to hit you so you can combo veng and hand cannon. Hand cannon special is good as it can stack two hits.

Stats- 99 range, def lvl of your choice. I suggest 99 in the true spirit of tanks
Prayer, 44-Max attack bonus, 70-good for bossing, piety, 92- soul split- ultimate tank.

Attack and Strength, either 75 atk and 74 str for use of gs or 60 atk and 88 str. 60 attack is hard to train but you get 1 advantage, you can use claw special and piety which might be useful against zerkers.

Hope that helps. Karils is useless, get armadyl or just stay with black d hide, Karils has same range bonus
