First off, nobody cares about the 52% of Christians (and ALL of your statistics that you post about your rants in a pathetic attempt to prove your accuracy and correctness) who may or may NOT (take that into consideration) follow the bible.

Also, it is actually VERY inaccurate to say that because only 52% (a little over half) of the world believes the bible is the words of God, and therefore the bible has the power to decide whether or not something is a sin.

And to simplify the 52% for you, that is basically a 50/50 (one-half) chance.

So nice point there, Pyro. Half of your sins are statistically wrong.

Once again, intelligence eludes you.

its an opinion of mine. But what, besides the Bible, defines "sin".
If your not religious, why would the word sin even come up....if theres no heaven or hell who cares right?
This is why when we define sin, it is through religion...because sin and religion are related. Basically with the little statistic of "52%" im saying that the Bible/ Quran is the most followed book in the world....so why not derive sin from it.

Heres something to get you thinking deeper:

society says abortion is ok, many will agree...but its still a sin.


and the reason i use these "statistics" is because atheists turn there head when a religious person starts to quote things from the Bible. I dont know very much about the Bible, and it is rare that i quote it in my debates....i try to use things that everyone can relate to, facts and logic. If 99% of the world were Christians, does that mean its the correct? not necessary. None of my statistics prove anything, but there just things to persuade my opinion. And the fact in my sig is just a interesting statistic...i always thought there were more non religious people then there are religious (little did i know 8/10 people are religious....it sure doesnt seem like that when i go to college).

 

The catholic church dous deem it as a sin (i learned it in religion class) and it was in a catholic book.

Jesus had a wife. That Jesus didn't have sex and so on was made up by church later on. (No offence to christians).
