No email attached?

I see many people selling old school account. They say no email attached or no registed email on account .

How come? because all of my accounts have attached email and no where to remove.

 

Its from account creation. When people make accounts with the intention to sell they just never set a email address. I'm not 100% but I think you have to create an account with a fake email address or it will automatically register the one you entered. Keep in mind tho these accounts are still recoverable

As for removing an email for it to say there is none registered, I don't think it is possible

 

You never have to register an email to the account if you don't forget your password.

 

I'm pretty sure if you recover an account, it removes the email. I'm sure it used to be like that at least.

 

When you create an account I thought an email was a must? (haven't made one in awhile so I have no idea).

 

It's probably that they created the account using a fake email and they never bothered to connect a real email to the account.

 

How sure are you the account is recoverable? if you include a spoof email and never bother with a real one.

 

The account email is only for password recovery.

Sure you don't need to verify the email? (Last time I created new accounts was at the start of this year and I'm positive you need to verify the email now)

 

Accounts are ALWAYS recoverable. If you are on the same IP as the one the account was created with, your chances are very high of almost having it automatically accepted. Stuff like previous passwords and payment info contributes well too.

If someone says the account can't be recovered because an email was never set, do not believe them, and better yet do not trade with them.

 

Not true. You have to go set the email in the account settings once you create an account. These people just choose not to do so.

You need to type in an email to create an account but it isn't attached to the account until you accept email request.

Also if you email Jagex and tell them that an old account of yours has an email registered to it that you can't access and they can see it through your IP or whatever, they take the email off the account.

lets make [email protected] as my registered email. but i didnt accept the email request.

then i changed it to [email protected] and accept the email request.

now, my login will be [email protected] or [email protected]?

 

The email you entered originally will always be your login regardless of what you changed it to afterwards.

 

So, people can always recover account with login email . no matter what other emails attached to it . and buyer must ask seller for orginal email and email pass in case they recover it.

Am i right?

I have heard throughout sythe that accounts are recoverable no matter what(from original owner). I think all you would need to know is the isp and ip + maybe a few details about the account you would know if you created the account. I'll probably test this out in a bit and share if it went successful or not
