Mass Effect Limited Edition!?

So I was considering selling parts of my Game collection and decided to check through prices when I came across this...
Can't post a link due to forum rules however it's easy to find.

Mass Effect 1 Limited Edition NEW $1500!

Don't get my wrong I expected limited edition games to go up in value but can anyone actually justify this massive price increase? Is this legit? I checked through other sites and saw similiar pricing.

I have 2 copies sealed so this isn't me raging / jelous; I just wondered if someone could give me some information on why the value has increased so dramatically?

Prices Seen so far:
eBay: $2500
Amazon: $2000
GameTrade: $1800

 

I don't know where you found that I just checked eBay and I can get the exact game for under $200

Dj were you searching for Mass Effect 1 Limited Edition Brand New? And I'm not saying you can't get it for less just is the price justified, alot of people are selling over or close to $1000.

 

I see I searched mass effect 1 limited lol. But congrats on getting that. eBay link is fine. Some mods might get mad but I think that it's fine. But ya I saw one like new for like $200. I should keep an eye out at GameStop.
