Mass Ban or something today?

Meh, that's why I'm afking bandits atm, taking no risks. Jagex seem to be putting in a bit more effort.

 

its just the day where a group of noobs gathers (lvl 88's) and walks around reporting everyone who doesnt reply to them.

They may have some pmods with em as well, which would account for all your guys bans
I've been suiciding hunter over the past few days and nothing yet

 

Jagex has been cracking down on bots and they even have a thread on the rs forums that shows what times they are going out for bot raids in game. It doesn't show what world(s) or where in game though.

 

You shouldn't bot at popular places like range guild - chaos druids etc... High ban rate

 

Cheating is wrong, we all know that. I put blood and sweat into training dungeoneering every day, even though i get flamed by the 138's who bought their account. If you really want to macro, don't do it in a hotspot.

 

Do the bot busters attack the Soul Wars bank? Or just inside the minigame.

 

I got banned like 2 weeks ago on my main

 

I currently have 7 bots with over 70 hours each woodcutting,fishing,dungeoneering, and at the range guild and none are banned, all of them have gotten no more than 2 randoms over that period of time

I'm using rsbuddy

 

Rsbuddy is legit, hope it helps keep a low ban rate.

 

As far as I know BAM checks the ranging guild on their weekend bot hunts.. so you probably got owned by them :noworry:

Well looking at the replies it definitely seems something is going on. Still waiting on an answer to my appeal. Botted overnight on another account using AgilityChampion on RsBuddy, so far so good.

 

i was botting for 18 hours and i got a perm ban. yes i was using rrsbuddy.

 

Hmm.. Botted at Ankous for quite a while with no ban. Just babysit your bots and you'll be fine.

 

They probably threatened the sites to cooperate with them. Wouldn't doubt it. They can threaten to take legal action on sites, and track the people down who own them. Unless the sites have offshore hosting (meaning it's doubtful they'd be tracked down) then Jagex could easily blackmail/threaten them or get them to cooperate easily.

If they could shut down Rsbuddy, they would. They wouldn't ban maybe 25% of rsbuddy users. They would just take down the site and bam gf botting to anyone who used Rsbuddy.

 

Only use really good bots. Often people see scripts and think "Oh cool, i'll try and make my own". Often they have terrible antibans (If any) and are really obvious, for example a set mouse speed or they just click the same co-ordinates over and over, not varying at all. This = obvious bot. JaGeX's systems are pretty good now.

I only use Premium bots from RSBots.net, and only in virtually undetectable areas (Soul Wars bank, Daemonheim, etc).
