Masks crash?

I have been making a good amount of money on masks lately, up the point where I have almost a bill spread out on 3-4 accounts. I sold 2 green masks today on the GE, and 1 of them didnt sell instantly, it took several minutes for it to sell. I have a feeling the mask crash is imminent and coming soon, what are your thoughts?

NOTE: this is not a price manipulation thread. In the long term, rares will ALWAYS go up, I am just stating that I think the next dipping cycle is about to commence.

 

I think the same,santas also dropped in the last 2 updates.But as usual it's not going to drop much until the buyout.

 

Greens/Santas are very likely to crash.. There are way to many of them in circulation.
Blue H'weens I guess it's possible considering there is still a good deal of them.
As for Red H'weens, I highly doubt it. Even if they did, it would last 2-4 days.

 

At one point in runescape history I thought blue was rarer than red. But yeah the theory you told me about them being almost half the GP value of a phat is unlikley, maybe just crash and steady out.

Pre-RS2 prices had blue as the most expensive. I quit for a few years after that and when I came back red was more expensive. Not too sure why.

But on topic, the amount of masks in circulation is considerably higher than the amount of phats. Considering the red mask is almost half of a phat now, I highly doubt it can continue to increase at the rate it has been. I suspect at least a medium sized crash in the masks.

 

I have seen on Sythe that masks have been dropping in their Paypal price, too. I bet a semi-crash would happen.

 

I noticed that too, and even though it is the blackmarket, that still reflects the general confidence that people have in the strength of the masks.

 

Rares are going down the shitter.

I sold a blue mask yesterday and it sold instantly for max.

 

God, i hope they go down enough for me to buy one. I'd love a green mask. Considering i only have 40M, i doubt they'll crash enough for me to even buy one.

 

As did I, I sold off my 4 greens and blue within the past 24 hours, just the last 2 greens I sold, the final one took several minutes to sell at max.

I doubt this will occurr ; )

I was just asked on MSN by some1 to buy their blue mask for trade price and they add $1, apparently masks are selling in GE for 50k over MIN. Good fucking timing by me : p

Blue and green are apparently crashing at close to min in GE. I guess the next update will tell us for sure. If they do, all I have to say is 1 thing.

I am a fucking baller. Sold them all for max maybe 4-5 hours before this thread was made. Win.

 

A friend of mine scored 2 greens in GE yesterday. He was all worked up but soon realized that they're gonna be hard to get rid of. Sucks for him.

I love crashes when they reach there lowest peak i will purchase them.

 

Do you have your font set to that, or do you intentionally change it to red everytime, because is quite bothersome to my eyes.

On topic, I doubt they will crash too much though, maybe 1 or 2 updates fall, then begin to rise again.

 

Yes its set to this, and it was either red or a bright yellow lol, anyway i hope they crash to like 10m haha.
