    Mars....Our next home?

I saw a show about the same Idea on Discovery channel. They were saying to produce enough carbon dioxide to create a sustainable atmosphere it would take around 500 - 1000 years. But I mean, what can go wrong. I say they should go for it.

thats a bit too far-fetched for me

    Mars....Our next home?

There has been lots of scientists that would go to Mars to learn about it more and terraforming it.
Of course the first settlers would be scientists....
The 1st mission to Mars the astronauts would spent about 6 months on the surface and coming back.

You say we would need to heat it up by bringing more carbon dioxide into it. To heat it's atmosphere, how could we possible get enough within it's atmosphere?

Of course there will be diseases there, there were/are diseases here on earth. We handled them and none are over powering us yet.
The idea of waiting for the gases to perform there job, enough for us to survive .. 500 - 1000 years. Hmm there could be a process to speed this, just like photosynthesis. The way things can produce light energies into chemical energies gives us something to think about, what if we could make something to enpower with this ability? The ability to create enough energy/gases need to start a life cycle?
Well i don't know, only time and scientists can tell us this..

Plant X (Nibiru) will kill us and wipe humanity off the face of the earth before this happens.. Only the powerful will survive. Like the president and crap. Then the Earth will be wiped out of everything electricity and crap. Everything will settle down. Then new life will form new humans will come and basically it will be the stone age all over again. Then they become more high tech and in 3600 years from 2012 December 21st Nibiru will come again and repeat till its gone. Basically the US gov knows about this cause they have a satalite tracking Planet X in the south Pole called Mc Murdo i believe. So life on mars better happen quick or we die.. Nice knowing you guys

and for the people who say we should see it be now. May 9th 2009 over aus you will see it

Um yeahhh, hate to break it to you, but we make electricity, therefore it's impossible to "run out" of it. But yeah, I never even thought about that; the whole process of adding carbon dioxide, which melts the ice making water, which makes it suitable for plants, which makes oxygen. Brilliant idea.

Maybe there would be a time at Mars that human have used all of they're resources and they will have to eat each other then the Human race will begone forever.

Totally, at the rate we are going our natural resources will deplete by than (my guess lol) Look at Canada. It has the most water yeah, but did you know only like 5% is renewable fresh water and they constantly over-use that amount which is actually Depleting their Water Resources.

Well, imagine there really are aliens, covering the real sight of their planet with an invisible gas. It is possible, also if it sounds absurd.
