Changes to the Market Manipulation Rule

Staff have discussed the Market Manipulation rule and have agreed that it is too vague in both scope and punishment. Here are the changes we have made to better clarify the rule and the punishment for breaking it:

New Rule:

This rule punishes purposeful attempts to gain an unfair market advantage through having multiple threads in a market section facilitated by the use of multiple accounts or the account(s) of another user. Please note that minor offenses such as a user accidentally posting two threads in the same section on one account will fall under the spam rule instead of this rule.

Scammer Minirank Auction Results

The Minirank Auction has concluded and I am proud to say that it has raised a total of $2075 for scam victims. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this auction a great success.

Most of the winners miniranks have been distributed, but a few will be distributed at a later date as they need to be re-enabled in order for us to distribute them. We'll also be reaching out to the scam victims shortly with instructions on how they may collect their funds.
