How to effectively purchase a safe runescape account ?

I've got no time to re-max an account again or do all those quests so I was hoping to purchase an account, I realize for a maxed one it's about $450-$500 or so but what is the most re-assuring way to purchase? I've never in my life had a positive experience purchasing accounts and I could never be bothered to re-make a maxed main in 2007 so I was wondering what is the safest way to go about this ? I've been inactive for a while and haven't even gone near runescape but it would be fun to log in a few times a week and go boss hunting or PK, and with the fact I'd load 100-300M on the account I really wouldn't want to go through with losing it, so what would be the safest way to go about this whole process, what are things that people look for (ie it was recovery questions and that was it when I was buying accounts) ? Is PA a good site? I wouldn't be looking to buy off a sythe member with 200 posts saying they're 5/5 trusted of course, but what would be the safest way to go about the whole process?

Also, how much would someone charge to create a 126 from scratch w/ quests ? via a service? would that be a better choice ?

 

Players auctions is your best bet. PM their account on sythe if you wanna get specifics about account trading and what to look for.

A huge amount of accounts on sythe get recovered so I don't recommend buying from here unless it's a mod/admin account.

Even with player auctions if the account gets recovered you will have to take the loss on the go on the account even if you get the account back

 

The account is only really safe if it is yours. Meaning, you created that account. So I would recommend making one and start hiring people to skill/quest it up for you if you are willing to spend. This way will be much better as compared to buying accounts only to find that everyone of them gets recovered.

They're cracking down on account trading. Not exactly the best idea to buy maxed accounts, especially in this era of account recoveries. Using services will end up costing you double, if not triple the price of a set maxed account. That, and there is always a possibility of something going wrong during those services.

 

Yep, I always recommend paying for training but that's risky as well... Watch one idiot use a stupid bot and get your account banned. The only exception to account trading is if you're trading a reputable Sythe member who is willing to provide a bunch of personal information. By reputable, I mean a 5+ year member.

Use your best judgement. Do a lot of background research the person selling the account. Look at his previous sales, scam reports (if any) etc.

 

I agree, I'd personally never buy an account from someone. You could put thousands of hours into only to have it recovered years later. After the person has been banned from sythe, or just decide they want it back, etc. Best bet is to make your own account unfortunately.

 

Like many have said, the original owner can always recover the acc no matter how much security there is on it or how many precautions u take. Even the most trusted person can recover it years down if they need cash or just don't care about the market anymore

I'd personally only ever buy an account from a real lfie friend. The next best thing is player auctions, however that's still not high enough for my standards.

Although it would cost a lot more, I'd suggest creating your own account and paying for it to be manually powerlevelled.

 

Only but an account off someone very trusted. Therefore its not only you that has something to lose if they scam.

 

Best way is hiring a guy to do the service, this way there is a 100% chance of not loosing the account. Might cost a few more dollars but in the end it's worth it.

 

Spent 1.5B+ RSGP on buying accounts, all accounts are recovered except 1.

Trust me, you better train one yourself.

Very good advice. Training really is quite cheap on Sythe, although some trainers will bot. At least you know that the account isn't going to be stolen by somebody else, a risk that never disappears after you bought an account. So many people on Sythe are scammed this way, it's by far the most common scam on the site.

 

Impossible to buy a maxed acc safely.


And, Powerleveling a max account would forreal cost a fortune(coming from a skiller with 1k+ views on thread)


Hand done that'd be like 3-6 months of training(unbotted) which is not worth it to me personally considering 3-6 months income is over $5k+ doing other things on here.


Your going to have a rough time finding a powerleveler for that order, from anyone.

Pretty much ask yourself, do I want to spend a fortune on leveling or Take the risk of a recovery?

Hand trained accounts are not very cheap, as Super quoted me a price of 1,200M 07 GP for max melee and back then the gold price was close to $3/M, so definitely not a cheap option.
