Issue one on michigans ballot was to legalize the use of medical marijuana. It got passed so medical marijuana's legal in michigan.
It passed 63% to 37%
The new law will go into effect on December 4, 2008, and the Department of Community Health will have an additional 120 days to issue regulations for a medical marijuana registry

Okay, you're totally wrong. Marijuana is *still* illegal, in any quantity, like it was. However, it was decriminalized; it's not a felony - it's a misdemeanor and you still have to pay a rather hefty fine. You just get no jail time and nothing on your permanent record. However, multiple offenses and you still can still earn yourself jail time.

Oh wow, I misread completely. Yes, I forgot how to read. I thought it said "minimal" marijuana, meaning small amounts. Because in MA, question #2 was asking about the decriminalization, and it passed too, and everyone at school was like "w00t legal weed" which would relate to what I just posted.
