    Margret Thatcher, State funeral?
    The issue of this debate: Should ex Prime Minister Margret Thatcher have a state funeral?

    My opinion is that she should not have a state funeral. The funeral is estimated to cost around 3 million of tax payers money.

    Some of the decisions this woman made were terrible for this country and although she was elected PM I personally do not believe she should receive something as good as a state funeral.

    The last state funeral was given to Winston Churchill in 1965.

    What did she do that was so decent to deserve a state funeral.

    I'm not a U.K. citizen, but I feel like the state funeral, especially for what it would cost should be reserved for the great leaders. I dn't know much about her, but I definitely side with you.
