Just a word

I have been around the site for about a week now but didn't introduce myself, why would I if I wasn't planning on staying. Well other than masses of ignoramus' that keep calling me a scammer although I have neither bought nor sold anything it has been a pretty cool experience. I have met and made a couple friends.

I am not here to scam. I don't want to phish accounts or sell them, I couldn't care less about your money I have plenty on my own thanks. I am a 33 year old Math Instructor, with a CPA sugar momma for a wife, who finds a GREAT value in what this site has to offer, to a GAMER. I see a way that people can recoup money on games they no longer play and people can save on games that they would like to (this also allows me to evade the wife aggro on certain aspects when it comes to my gaming habits). (The occasional exploit is about as crazy as I get.)

I am glad I have somewhat of a thick skin, the welcoming I received trying to get involved here at scythe.org has been a step above a punch in the stomach by most.

So what must I do to validate myself? I sent in a donation today to start the process, if that is a part of the process.

Usually doing services, or even just a couple of trades to get some trusted members to Vouch for you will give you a good rep, keep in mind it may take a while. You'll get there though, I've got a while to go too before I am trusted.

Establish yourself a bit before diving straight into the markets.

 

Tinterweb is full of flamers, but meh can't stop that. No need to ignore it though, just use supreme linguistic skills to confuse them to the point they get annoyed and shut up.

I sent $10 by mail. I guess I can understand the apprehension people have. If it wasn't for Kornolio38 I would have most certainly been scammed at least once by now when I was looking to buy a steam.
