Runecrafting

 

Training my range...And Doing Level 1 and 2 Clue scrolls while im at it.

 

I considered Runecrafting! For some reason I stopped considering it but I cant quite remember why!

Fishing. It's always been my main source if income

 

it's all gonna be about rc after the miners manage to get pure ess. nats here i come!

 

Fishing dude you can never have too many people fishing at one time and I want to be apart of the catherby banter

 

I predict so many players online at once for at least the first week, I'd stick to things that are not lessened by the presence of large amounts of players. By this I mean things such as:

1. Fishing
2. Mining (pure ess only, most rocks way too crowded)
3. Fletching (a bit later, alchers are going to need thousands of yew longbows and I promise there will be more people selling bowstring and yew logs than people selling yew longbows so chance here for lots of potential profit for a committed fletcher)
4. Combat in general (if you are committed you can easily get higher enough combat to be killing NPC's most people can't, if you focus on combat only you could easily hit the uncrowded level of combat farming gold and xp freely)
5. Runecrafting (people need runes and most mages won't want to craft all their own runes, too slow)
6. Thieving (pickpocketing isn't playercount limited and pure gold or other valuable items such as gems will be important for a growing economy)

That's all I can think of right off the top of my head, I'm sure other resource gatherers will make plenty but those are the skills that won't be connection speed or time of day dependent so the most reliable.

i really think fishing is going to be the big money maker in the start as 2 people can fish from the same spot, but 2 people cant kill the same cow and get the same drop. therefor you can get fish/cook and then train with it or sell it for a reasonable amount.

I might do some woodcutting as well.

The only problem is... who do you plan on selling the fish to? I don't see fishing being profitable for at least 3-4 days in, and that's being generous. Most people who plan on maxing cb asap will probably just fish their own food.

 

I'll probably with with pure essence of the start as they can't be crowded and then I'll do fishing and or woodcutting/fletching when things cool down.

Fishing is the only resourcing one that won't be influenced by other people, that's what I'd do.

 

I just thought of a great way to make some fast cash with a skill just need some food to start and then ill be hopefully rolling in the doe

 

The best money making methods will be those kept secret

 

Thieving initially may be a good idea for the first week to gain cash, oh also do the stronghold of security. 10k gp reward at the end and you unlock great monsters to train on.
