Making a Runescape Private Server, With Pictures!

Want to make your own private server? Well here are some steps to making it.


Step one. Get Winrar

Here's a site you can download Winrar from

Step Two. Make sure to get Java Runtime Environment and Java Development Kit

Step Three. Select a source
This is the hardest part. All the sources look good huh? Well pick one that you really like. You dont want to waste a lot of time editing it and not liking it later. Here's a site for download sources

This is Moparscape Forums.

Step Four. Choose a Client.
The best client would be the Silabsoft Client. It's located at Client.silabsoft.org
There is also a downloadable version in the Moparscape Forums.

Step 5. After editing your source, you ned people to connect.Connecting. Go to No-ip.org This is where you will download a software known as no-ip. This lets people easily access your server.

Choose Systems


Register an account. Click add a host.



Step 6. Click View System Information on my computer
Click Environmental variables

The java can be changed into any version

Then Click new again. Type this in

Final Step
Remember that NO-IP thing you downloaded? After you made a host, open and install it. Check the box with the no-ip you've selected. Go on your server files. Click Run.bat

You're done!

The whole point of writing guides is so you answer people's questions, not tell them to "PM" you. And it's not very elaborate at all. It basically says get a source get a hoster, edit your source (the most broadly explained), run it. BAM! YOUR DONE. I don't think so -.- i wish it was that easy. Just say "EDIT YOUR SOURCE"? Wayyy better said then done. I'm not trying to rag on you or anything don't get the wrong impression lol, you should jsut elaborate more, that's all ^_^ .

 

Each server is different. That is why I put PM me if you need additional help. I wasn't offended. Just saying edit your server is broad enough is good enough since there are literally thousands of different sources
