I'm not completely sure what format kindle requires, however I BELIEVE that PDF will work on Ipads, but do your research before you make the purchase in order to read it on an Ipad.

The retail copy will be sold here on sythe until I start my job in a couple of weeks, after my first paycheck I can afford to publish it onto itunes and amazon. So expect around a 3 week wait to get it off one of those sites.

Description of Brutia: Gunther's Sage -

Gunther Shield-Breaker is a Nordic man with amazing combat abilities, possibly the best that Brutia has ever seen. Our story follows his feats as he fights in a great civil war between the Nords of Northern Brutia and the Elves of Southern Brutia that has lasted over 100 years, is blessed by the god of war as his champion to protect all of Brutia from demonic forces and crazed lunatics with massive power. This is a four part story with new enemies, creatures and lands in every part as the story takes twists and turns following the great hero in his four journeys to protect Brutia.

Gunther truly follows the path of an honorable warrior. Every step he makes across the lands is a step of greatness and he will die before he allows evil to conquer his beloved homeland. Join us now in the story of the hero, Gunther Shield-Breaker, on his journey to become a legend.

This is the story of a heroes life as he takes on many quests and travels the land of Brutia in the name of his king and friend, Rognar.


Reviews so far:

I have attempted to leave a certain vagueness in the story to keep ones imagination at work. During revisions and re-reading of the story, I personally felt proud about the story I had created. I enjoy the type of story I am telling, but I will admit, it is not the type of story everyone will enjoy. There is a lot of blood and gore and the story could be described as "all over the place" as all 4 parts have lengthy time gaps between them and focus on 4 completely different quests. Some of the quests Gunther go on are intertwined in a certain way, I won't reveal how, as it would be a huge spoiler.

I would have to suggest this book to a mature audience (Ages 14+), as there is quite a bit of detailed gore, minor sexual themes, such as talk and descriptions of bodies, breasts and some nudity is described here and there as well. The language could also be considered mature. I tried to keep the cursing at a minimum, but at certain areas I could find no other words for some characters to use except shit, bitch, fuck, and etc, however, like I said, the cursing is at a minimum and is not used very often at all.

It's the name of the book. It's the name of the land the book takes place in.

It is pronounced Brute-Ee-Uh.

I haven't decided how many review copies I will be releasing, I already have a few people in line to get one, depending on how many I decide to release, you may be able to get a free copy.

 

From what i've read from "about me" and your whole back story your writing is amazing like i was so into your story i hope your books are just as good if not better your a good writer

 

I don't care if I have to pay or not, I wish to have a copy. It's nice to see an ebook thread hosted by a passionate writer instead of the "Get rich quick guys!!!'" I'm so used to seeing.

 

How will this be available and for how much? I'd love to buy it on my Kindle, definitely.

 

I will be selling the PDF here on sythe for around $5.00 through paypal (price isn't fully decided yet) and it will also be on Itunes for ibook users and etc for the same price. When I finish the book, I'll be releasing a small amount of review copies, but I think I'm already full on people to give the review copies too.

The job of a reviewer will be to read the story, spot typos, incorrect sentences and etc if there is any so I can fix them for the final copy as well on give their input on areas they believe should be taken out or more added to it, etc. (Reviewers also get a free version of the final copy.)

EDIT: I'm not sure what kindles go through, I wanna say you can only get ebooks from amazon for kindle? I'm not 100% sure though, but either way we'll figure out a way to get it to you if you decide to get a copy. I'd like to put it on amazon as well, but I have no read into how to yet. I know itunes will charge me 20$ and give me an actual book ID number that goes into the US book registry (pretty much me publishing the book). But like I said, I'm not sure how it works on amazon and I will have to look into it more before I can give a 'for sure' answer to you.

i may or may not be interested but if it is, i will read it and inform you of any mistakes.

 

I will release a full description as soon as the review copy is completed. I'm almost finished revising Part 2 out of 4. I ended up editing a lot more than I had planned, so it may not be ready by tomorrow as I claimed it would be, but I believe I could have it completed by tomorrow night and release the description as well as the review copy thursday morning.

This is a very long interesting story, as i have had not much time to read it myself, i am speaking on behalf of my brother who found it interesting, if your into books, you will love this very detailed, and probably will take you quite a while to read it, i'd recommend reading this. My brother has not yet read the whole book but to the point he has read he has found it interesting, i am going to post some more detailed feedback within the week.
