If you're refering to real life, before someone wins $100,000,000, millions of people buy $5 tickets. Let's say 50 million people are playing the lottery each time. That means that the government makes $250,000,000 and you still have to choose 6 - 7 numbers. (i don't play, im not sure) Also in result, the $100,000,000 doesn't always have a winner. It will be played again next week for $115,000,000 and the government will make another $250,000,000. In gambling, the dealer always comes out on top.

thats not how odds work, the odds of you losing 3 in a row is 4/10 x 4/10 x 4/10, or 64/1000, or 6.4/100. however, once u begin rolling, if u lose the first one u now have a 4/10 chance of winning the next one again. The odds multiplying method only works when u think of it as a whole, however once u bet it goes out the window. chances are always 40% to 60% in their favor.

I host in a chat and i see people like this come in and get cleaned all the time . Personally i have won 13 rolls in a row as a host (13 under 55 in a row ) and watched people betting big amount since they believe that its 50/50 so next one has to be a win ! Wrong every dice rolls independently does not matter what the roll previously was whatsoever.

 

The hosts are the ones that really make the real money, trust me.

Unless you're hosting, its not very profitable unless you're VERY lucky.

Amen, sooo many people think they're more chances dependent on how many losses/wins you've received I've known some Hosts to have 7 losing streaks although on that 8th role the chances are still 50% (dependent on what type of roll). Although you may keep going on and on, if you have enough money to do so although if you take into calculation the losses of losing 5 in a row that's 160m down doubling up..

 

independent events alsp you might be lucky and win a few initially but as you play more and more the variance starts to kick in and you will lose.
